Levon Lazarev: Talent and USSR (2007)

In 2007 Gevorg Ter-Gabrielyan cooperated with the US-published 'Armenian Reporter'. One of the first publications that he prepared was about late Levon Lazarev, a Saint-Petersburg sculptor, who dreamed of having one of his works installed in Armenia. Unfortunately, his dream never materialized. However, sooner or later Levon's works will be presented to his beloved Armenia and its people.

On the picture is one of Levon's last works, Andrei Sakharov's sculpture, which is currently erected in the square behind the SPB University, though originally it was conceived by the author the Yerevan Sakharov square in mind.
